Requirements & information for porting numbers
To port a number, you need to be the account owner or have the permission Account
If you want to port your mobile number from another operator to Lynes, you do a number port.
The date of the port can not be earlier than 5 days from us receiving the porting form. Keep this in mind when scheduling a porting to a specific date in the app.

Port numbers

When porting in a number, you need to make sure that the number does not have any contract period left
- Send in the signed contract to subs@lynes.io
- Make sure that there is no contract period with the current operator and that the mobile number to be ported is registered to the company
- Start the purchase of a new subscription
- Under the "Select number" step in the guide above, select port existing number and fill in the information according to your choice
You can see the status of an ongoing porting on the user if the number is assigned. If the number is not assigned to a user, it will be under Unassigned subscriptions

If you want to port a number to another company and operator, you need to send in a this document to subs@lynes.io. Then the new operator needs to send a porting request to us.

To port a number series in the app, you need to be logged in as super admin
Click on -> Organization Settings -> Phone system -> Fixed numbers- When porting in a number, you need to make sure that the number does not have any contract period left
- Send in the signed porting authorization to subs@lynes.io
- Click on Transfer number
- Enter the number or number series to be ported. To port in number series eg 0811223340-50 you have to enter 08112233[40-50] in order to port the entire series
- Fill in the information according to your agreement, date of porting, the company that owns the number, etc.
- Click on Transfer
You will see the status of an ongoing porting. The number series ends up under Unassigned fixed numbers.

To port a mobile number in the app, you need to be logged in as super admin
Click on -> Organization Settings -> Phone system -> Mobile numbers- When porting in a number, you need to make sure that the number does not have any contract period left
- Send in the signed porting authorization to subs@lynes.io
- Click on Transfer number
- Enter the mobile number to be ported.
- Fill in the information according to your agreement, date of porting, the company that owns the number, etc.
- Assign the number to a user (optional)
- Click on Transfer
You will see the status of an ongoing porting. The number series ends up under Unassigned/assigned mobile numbers.

Your new SIM card is sent by normal mail directly upon ordering and usually arrives within a few days
